"Multiverse" was the second album project of the Swinging Globes, which at the time became a trio with the arrival of our bass player.
In December 2018, the three of us met at the home of our friend Paul, with whom we had already recorded our first album, Universe (as a duo at the time), to begin a new recording session. From this first session emerged 4 recordings. We had a lot of ideas, projects and enthusiasm but not much time, so we thought we would do other recording sessions later, to complete this one.
However, life's unforeseen events and the passage of time made it gradually harder and harder for us to get together, rehearse, create, and record.
So the project has been on hold all this time, and today, 3 years later, we can hardly see how we could simply pick up where we left off.
It is with this sad observation that the history of the Swinging Globes probably ends. It has been a great experience, both musically and humanly, we have received a lot of good reviews and support. To thank you for all this, we have decided to release the 4 recordings of 2018.
These recordings are raw and come straight out of the studio, but we still find them both enjoyable to listen to and quite close to the result, in terms of atmosphere, of what we wanted to do with "Multiverse". Of course, these are almost only "drafts", with mistakes, not mixed, but we are happy to share this piece of history with you!
